The base is pine and Kokopelli is blackheart sassafras. This one is for me, I have loved this little fellow every since I first saw him about 20 years ago. I am a big fan also and have several patterns but, for some reason, I think the only kokopelli items I have ever made are ornaments. I'll have to remedy that and make some kokopelli projects. Small items like that don't get as much attention as the elaborate fretwork or intarsia patterns so, sometimes I forget to get the pics before I give them away. God Bless! I don't recall who the designer was but, am pretty sure they came from the old Creative Woodworks and Crafts magazine. If I can locate the designer, I'll pass the info along. God Bless! I found an ad for Scroller LTD magazine that lists this pattern set as 7408SH and just called Arrowhead Ornaments but, could not find it on the Scroller website any more.
