Popular Post Greatgrandpawrichard
Being that I am a cheapskate wood worker that just Hates to waste wood, I have started to accumulate too many tiny pieces of scrap wood, I challenged myself today. I made two tiny little Raindeer out of some laminated Purpleheart and a wood that I don't know what species. The blocks were so small that it was hard to keep them from dipping into the cut out for the blade in the table for my RBI Hawk Scroll Saw. I cut the little Raindeer out using a size 0 blade that is 0.009" thick by 0.024 wide and has 33 teeth per inch. : Dick ChelCass, amazingkevin, RabidAlien and 7 others

I have been cutting out 3D Reindeer for 29 years now. They have ranged in sizes fro 1 1/16 of an inch tall (like the ones in the photos) to 12 inches tall. I have them in 7 Foreign Countries, Every Province in Canada. Mexico and Every State in the USA. They are my Annual Christmas Tradition. I am starting ahead of time to cut out a few to keep in stock for Sales in the fall. Dick

I'm to old and rickety for that! Plus my eye sight isn't that good anymore! That would be a real challenge though! Dick
