This is actually the third one I made. The first 2 broke. I told myself if the third one broke he was getting coasters instead. LoL!! This is a large dimensional project done on tiger maple. The individual plaques are one inch thick with raised carvings of the scrolled animals. The plaques are attached at varying depths to the supporting framework.
