Popular Post rjR
Made from scrap cedar. fence boards- all rescued wood. About 15 inches long-8" wide and 9" tall without the load. Used scrollsaw, sander, and cutoff saws too. The front and back fenders came from the scrap box and were just sanded- cuts from some other project. As this was for me- I decided I wanted a cab-over-engine- in a 20's -30's theme. The color choice was also to fit the era. I had to add an extra taillight to meet modern legalities. The hubcaps and headlight are just thumb tacks that were brass colored- the taillights are the same tacks started in through a little masking tape-then colored with nail polish- when it was dry I used a piece of soft cloth and a wooden hammer to drive them almost totally in. Then pulled the tape and finished the setting them in solid. Oh it also fits many planters too, actually has drain holes on the bottom for planter watering accidents. Design again by T & E Designs.
