Gave one to a co-worker for his son, just got around to finishing up the second one. I'm not real happy with how the easel turned out on this one. After looking at the pictures I think that I need to cut the top of the middle piece a bit shorter. I used scrap Pine for the stand and BBP for the plaque and backer. I know that Pine doesn't stain very nice so I use a pre-conditioner on the stand but it still didn't take a stain very good. Oh well, the wife is happy that I finished another project that I started last year,, well almost finished,, still needs a finish sprayed on the stand.
