OCtoolguy Posted March 21, 2021 Report Posted March 21, 2021 I just got this Instructable and found it to be somewhat interesting. Another gadget. crupiea and OzarkSawdust 1 1 Quote
Roberta Moreton Posted March 21, 2021 Report Posted March 21, 2021 I saw that, you need a CNC and a degree in engineering to build the jig! Sent that email straight to the trash. ben2008 and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
preprius Posted March 22, 2021 Report Posted March 22, 2021 wow a specialty gadget. Just think you could put a straight branch in it. Have the live bark still on the outer edge. Then you can watch the branch spiral to the ground. Maybe they can try a baseball bat? Why did the they need spiral cut? OCtoolguy 1 Quote

barb.j.enders Posted March 22, 2021 Report Posted March 22, 2021 There is a video on the Gwinnett Woodworking site that shows how to do this without the fancy jig!! OCtoolguy and John B 1 1 Quote
Joe W. Posted March 22, 2021 Report Posted March 22, 2021 I'll get back to that after I've mastered scroll sawing. Translation: Never/Nyet/NOT/nope/nada Roberta Moreton and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote
crupiea Posted March 23, 2021 Report Posted March 23, 2021 Cool video. Thats one heck of a mechanism. Here I was pretty pleased with myself for making a wood knob to tighten the blade. lol Roberta Moreton, OCtoolguy and John B 1 2 Quote
rash_powder Posted March 24, 2021 Report Posted March 24, 2021 I saw a fella do this on YouTube quite some time ago with a wooden apparatus he made to turn and feed. It was hand powered. OCtoolguy 1 Quote
