The one on the left is made according to the pattern. The wife kept complaining that it was hard to dust. The one on the right is a new version which I just finished the other day. It is cut from 1/8" birch as was the original. I used diluted acrylic craft paints for the stain to color all the parts. The frame is just 3/4" white pine with glass to protect the piece.
