Nice cutting of old Gus.  Probably the best western ever made.... I have watched it, maybe 12 times,,, I have a "Lonesome Dove" weekend every few years.   Just about to finish reading the book,,, for the fourth time..  Only book I have ever read more than once.

Great portrait. Love the show hate to read books, but after watching the show I also read the book. Love Gus’ character so much we named are latest dog after him.

Robert Duvall plays the character of Gus. If you ever get the chance to see the show or read the book you won’t be disappointed.

Super cutting of a great character in a fantastic show.

I have seen it a few times along with the spin-offs Although I love reading I must hang my head in shame and say I have not read the books.

I'm happy to hear that I'm not alone. I've read it twice and would read it again if I still had my copy. It got away from me in our downsizing. I'll find another one. I've watched the series 3 times. As you said, best western ever made.

i HAVE SEEN THE SHOW A COUPLE OF TIMES BUT DON'T REMEMBER OLD GUS. AS FOR THE BEST WESTERN I THINK OUTLOOK JOSIE WALES IS THE BEST.( ONE MAN'S OPINION)
