CSull Posted April 2, 2021 Report Posted April 2, 2021 That is nice! Is purpleheart hard to work with being so hard? I have a chunk of it and was considering using it in a project. amazingkevin and DickMira 1 1 Quote
DickMira Posted April 2, 2021 Author Report Posted April 2, 2021 Purpleheart is very hard, stiff, and very dense making it difficult to work with. Purpleheart wood is one of the hardiest and sturdiest woods in the world. Working with it requires much patience and a slow approach when cutting making it moderately hard to work with but takes a glossy lustrous finish. Go ahead and use it. It will be the most durable part of your project. Regards, Dick amazingkevin 1 Quote
