Fiona Kingdon pattern from summer issue

Quarter inch BB with Red Gum (Australian Eucalyptus) veneer.  My first attempt at veneering and there are a couple glue starved spots where small pieces of the veneer came off.  

My next project is a Clayton Boyer clock.  Have spent quite a bit of time studying the patterns and instructions and am getting a little concerned I've bitten off more than I chew.

I very much like what you did here.  I've never attempted to glue a piece of thin veneer to plywood, but you have inspired me to give it a try.

And, I will try it with this pattern.  Fiona has it for sale on her WEB site for those who may want the pattern but do not have the magazine.  Fiona calls this 'Three Shells'
