I think its mostly geared toward woodturners, but I think they'd make really interesting compound cutting projects. Imagine a chess set made with this wood. don in brooklin on Posted July 1, 2011 Report Share Posted July 1, 2011 I have used this type of wood for pens a few times. I prefer it cut on an angle versus straight accross. On the web site they had and example of a plaque that was cool. I am going to check with my supplier in Canada (Artistic Woods) to see if they carry bigger sheets. Here is an example of a recent pen.
