Popular Post OzarkSawdust Posted May 12, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted May 12, 2021 I've got a couple of orders ready to go, and I haven't posted a picture in a while. So...here are 3 Breast Cancer ribbons and a Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ) ribbon. They are a Sue Mey pattern cut from 1/4" BB ply. Charlie E, new2woodwrk, Phantom Scroller and 8 others 11 Quote
FrankEV Posted May 12, 2021 Report Posted May 12, 2021 (edited) I like them a lot. Well cut and finished. How are they displayed? Hung like a ornament or do they mount on a wall? Edited May 12, 2021 by FrankEV Quote
Rockytime Posted May 13, 2021 Report Posted May 13, 2021 Those are very nice. How big are they? OzarkSawdust 1 Quote

OzarkSawdust Posted May 13, 2021 Author Report Posted May 13, 2021 (edited) Thank you Frank! Although they can be mounted on a framed backer, most people just hang them on the wall on a small picture nail. Les, they are about 9" wide and 7" tall. Thank you Marg! It takes me longer to do the paint work than the cutting! Spray 2-3 white base coats. Then get just the right touch of pink on the wings, also spray. If I goof...it's back to white then try again. Then the ribbon is hand painted acrylic in whatever color for the type of cancer. That is 2-3 coats. I use gloss on these, I think it shows it off nicely. Edited May 13, 2021 by OzarkSawdust Quote
