JCastle64 Posted May 14, 2021 Report Share Posted May 14, 2021 One the first use of the scroll saw after unboxing it, the motor started to bog down and the pulsate sporadically. (See attached video). Upped the speed control, but this did nothing to fix the issue. Is this a known issue? What can be done to correct the issue? I was cutting some 1/4” Masonite for templates with the speed control set to about half speed. thanks for any insights. JCastle64 Posted May 15, 2021 Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2021 I ran the saw again this afternoon. It seemed okay for about 15 minutes and started pulsing again. For a new saw, it’s not worth the effort to work through the issue. I have boxed it up and it’s going back to Lowe’s tomorrow. Thank you for the comments. I really appreciate the support.
