PawPawRay
2 days of cutting and sanding on my first bowl and when I put it in the bowl vise to clamp the bottom to the sides I used to much pressure and it snapped on both ends.

Travis
Ahhh....man. The bowl was coming along nicely too. Can you sand off the top ring? Might make a nice change/keys catcher.

DWSUDEKUM
There is a way to save the bowl.. you will have to sand deep divots on both ends and round them so that they merge with the other edges... you might even want to do 4 of them and give the bowl a unique scallop edge. I have done this a time or two to recover a "broken" bowl. As long as you do not tell anyone that you were attempting to make designer firewood they will not know. Use your artistic talents. Other than that it looks good. Keep the faith. DW
PawPawRay
Thanks for the encouragement. I was so PO'd yesterday that all I could think of was throwing it in the trash. Today I'm going to try to salvage it.
