Does Anyone Have An Oscillating Spindle Sander If So, Which One

I have the Ridgid that most of time it's setup for belt sanding and I have an old craftsman spindle sander which has a more powerful motor. The Ridgid dust collection sucks but not the dust. The craftsman has excellent dust collection.

I bought a Wen 6510T new off e-bay.  Only paid $67 for it, but it hasn't been delivered yet.  Don't know whether I'll really get the sander or not.  At that price, I half way think the listing was a scam.  The delivery date is supposed to be 6/15.  We'll see if it actually is delivered or not.  Thanks for all your comments.  Jim

I took delivery of my TRITON 450w Oscillating Belt and Spindle Sander 2 days ago. Quite a substantial machine and I wanted to sand the 'bandsaw boxes' I am going to make.

If it is a scam or something else goes wrong, eBay will refund your money. I have received a refund several times over the years. I got a refund last week.

Am now about to order some more toys/tools for the Triton. I want both sizes of bowl sander and the flexible shaft with the dust extractor handle with the extractor extension. It really is to make it easier on myself when sanding which I find is a huge chore.

I bought a Wen 6510t about 2 weeks ago.  My research showed that it is identical to several other spindle sanders on the market save for color and brand name.  I find it quite aggressive in its sanding, too much so for doing fine work on inside curves, etc.  I will look for additional drums with less aggressive sandpaper.  Other than that I am pleased with it.

Don, I was just looking at the Triton that you mentioned. I don't see any reference to attachments for it. Can you enlighten me?

Sorry about that Ray, I was talking about the Kirjes sander and its attachments. One of those senior moments I'm afraid. I need some bits for the Kirjes sander as I want to try those scroll saw shells by Steve Garrison.
