Brokentone
Have any of you tried Pegas super skip blades for compound cutting? I need to order some blades and was wondering how these would perform, thank you for any help you can provide. Bob OCtoolguy
dgman
I have not tried them but a skip tooth blade is always recommended for compound cutting. Depending on thickness of your blank, I would go with. #3, 5 or 7. There is no reason they wouldn’t do the job. Angelo
Hi everybody, sorry if I enter in this topic with a question that was a little off topic and perhaps obvious but looking at the photos of these blades It seems to me that they do not have a specific mounting orientation or I am wrong thank you OCtoolguy

The blade faces to the front of the saw and the teeth pointing down. It is sometimes hard to tell the direction of the teeth. Run your finger along the blade. Rough side up so the teeth are pointing down. OCtoolguy

Angelo
Ciao, Sorry for this late reply but during the day I don't have many opportunities to follow the network. First of all thank you very much for the advice and anyway after I read your email I remembered that I have a Pegas blade pack and then I checked what you told me and clearly I immediately understood what you told me, like I said It wasn’t easy for me to understand the possible orientation I usually use FD UR # 3 or 5 and work with 3/4 thick pine, unfortunately I don't have much time to devote to this hobby and even if I don't participate much in the forum I am always amazed at what you guys are capable of doing. Thanks again Angelo Rockytime and OCtoolguy 1
