Vase with bluetooth speaker

OK, it is outside the box, used a vase pattern from Steve Good,  and installed a Bluetooth speaker during the build. Inlaid the two birds. Used heart wood and aspen. The peacock feathers came from my fly tying bench.  It has surprisingly good sound quality, the hardest part was figuring out the baffle over the speaker.  Onward through the fog!

Your extra efforts really paid off and brought it to a really stunning and now useful item..I really am impressed.. Great creation

Beautiful project!  Where did you get the electronic components, and are you happy with them?  The ones that I have seen online have very mixed reviews.

Fantastic idea. Definitely not out of the box, rather ingenious ingenuity. You took a pattern and made it your own. The wood you selected is spot on and inlay just adds to the project. That is one great piece! Well done!

I got the electronics through Rockler, I have used the kits on other projects and they are OK for small units especially if you baffle them well.
