you know how to see if edges are straight by looking down the line by rotating the part on edge. I used my phone to look down the edge.  Yea tilt the phone like it was on edge.

Those red /white stripes do Not have variations.  The stars are perfectly aligned and spaced and not rotated at all.

Since the stars are separate pieces this alignment takes very special effort during gluing process. I hope the were stacked cut.

The middle oval is amazing. I can not tell if this black ring a seperate piece or the outer part is just painted. Either way the consistency of black thickness is awesome.

The perfectness just makes me want to pull out my caliper to find something slightly off.  I promise I won't do it on the pictures.

Of course the text flows perfectly with the curved edges.

I can not find anything to criticize or change. 😀

You do fantastic work! Both the cutting and painting exhibits an extremely high level of craftsmanship.

What are you using for paint?  I don't see any shine so it must be some sort of matte paint.  I have read that you spray the paint.  Are you using a can like Krylon, or are you using some other type of paint.  Maybe an air brush? Please forgive me if you have answered this before.  If you have, please point me to that post and I will study what you said there.

I would love to see an instruction video on one of your pieces.  I cannot see your start holes either.  Would love to see a video.

Thank you!

Ranger was my home in 72-'73.  She brought me to the Gulf of Tonkin (Vietnam) just in time for Linebacker 2 - one of the bloodiest air campaigns of the war and quite possibly the longest 11 days in my life.  That campaign led to the final cease fire and withdrawal from the war.  She was a great ship and never looked better than when returning from a strike.

Great project and beautifully executed, Crupiea.
