New Pattern in progress. How does the balance strike you?

Before I edit all the dropouts and font preparations - your initial impression of the overall balance of this plaque project would be helpful.  When have finished this, it will be cut in Cherry.  I will make the finished pattern available as well.

Looks great on the set up but the script font isn't clear to read but that's just me. Roly

Thanks Phantom.  With the Palace script font I have generally taken some of the slant out to make it more readable.  I forgot on this.  Here it is with just a bit of slant removed.  For me, at least, the slight decrease in slant makes a big difference.

Absolutely.  I have learned the hard way that layout and balance need to come before dealing with the drop-outs and bridges.

For me, on a quick glance (while riding in the car), I feel the bottom 2 lines are too far to the right and too much open space on the left.

 I would move the left dove over some towards the left side, and then move those two lines to be more centered. I would also probably put the book, chapter and verse over on the right side “after” the verse.

The second one looks easier to read. Nice pattern, coming along very nice. Looking to see the final version. May have to cut one or two.

Time to break the pencil.  This seems to work for me. I am now trying to figure out how to split the PDF into two pages (versus using the "poster print" function).

ahoul dlimit the numbers of typfaces.  It seems to me to be a bit crowded.  Usually max of 3 typfaces and fonts reads better...

Most scriptures list the reference (psalm)  to the right, I believe.
