Old Dust
I was going thru some old scroll magazines and found an article on cutting CD's. Since I had a stack of them saved from mailings I got a few years ago, Thought I would give it a try. The article suggested 'no reverse blades'. I agree. Also use #1 or 0/2. Since I did not have any 'no reverse' that size, I decided to try anyway. Bad Idea. I broke a number of them on the first 2 cuttings. Tried #5 FD Polar. Worked much better. Also set your speed to the slowest you can, otherwise the blade will just reseal what you just cut. The photo has a quarter in it to give a size comparison. Helenm2807
Great work John. I love the Kokopelli designs - theres' something about them that always make me smile. Doing them out of CD's is a great way of recycling as well. H.
wombatie
They are terrific John well done, and thanks for the tips. I have been saving old CD's for a few years now and one day I will cut them, at least that is what I keep telling myself. LOL Marg

DWSUDEKUM
Looking Good John. Don't know if you sandwich the cds in anything but I have cut some between 1/8 ply and they came out decent. Thanks for sharing them with us. DW
