FrankEV
Wonderful work all. The last one with Humming birds looks very intricate. I find it hard to do repeating patterns like these. Recenlty finished some Dream Catchers that had disks with a repeating pattern. I managed and they don't look too bad, but not quite as neat and perfect as yours. Any chance you could elaborate with some details like: Wood used?, Size? Blades used? etc. Did you count the number of holes in the Humming Bird disk....looks like a lot. Tbow388
Much more elaborate than I can do. Great job!!!
Tom-in-Ashland
from the top pic - Walnut 1/4" next 2 - Mahogany 1/4" Padauk 1/4" Cherry 3/8". ( the table it is on is Cherry that was purchased in the early 1970's It was almost that dark when I bought it. Have not been able to find Cherry like that in 20+ years.) Pegas #3 MG blades for all except a 2/0 skip for some of the tiny holes in the bottom one. I did not count the holes in the bottom one - think I might find that somewhat depressing. preprius
take the bottom 3 and stack them. Have each spin on a separate motor. Now you have kenitic art. All of them look good. Tom-in-Ashland
Rolf - my saw is a Hegner 22 Denny - if you buy the book the patterns are printed so close into the binding that you may have to cut the binding off to make the copies to use as patterns.
