This was a good project. This is 3/4 Alderwood. Cut with a #2 Reverse tooth blade. That was a lot of turns! LOL

Now that wood and cutting go together.  Very nice work.

Hemmmm!  No turns if you use spiral blades. 

Is the Alderwood a softwood or hardwood?  How easy is the cutting?

Alder is a little bit harder than Poplar on the Janka scale. It cuts great.

I do use spiral blades every once in a while. I just prefer to use regular blades because I can be more exact with them.
