We Lost Our Friend - Rockytime

This is very sad news.  Like Dan said, I think he was like a friend to most everyone on this forum. Condolences to his family and friends.

Prayers for his family. His avatar picture reminded me so much of a good friend locally to me. I believe I associated this with Les and considered him a good friend. He always was positive in his comments. Hope his wife is doing okay. My prayers are with her also!

I talked with one of Les' daughters last night. She said Faye was better and was at his side when he passed. The family is in total shock.

Indeed, it is so sad to hear, when it could have been prevented so easily. I know most people don't think as I do but when it is possible to do things to protect ourselves and we don't do them is way beyond my understanding as to why? I know the family is devastated and my heart goes out to them during this difficult time.

I have to agree. I finally gave in and got vaxxed. Now, with it hitting this close to home I'm glad I did.

Ray, thank you for the update. Like so many, my heart is saddened at the loss of our friend Les. I was greatly concerned this might be the outcome when you all said he was being put on a vent unfortunately. My heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to his wife Faye and their daughters and their family. He was a regular contributor here in the Village whose wit and wisdom will be greatly missed by me and I know many of us here. I pray that his family can find peace and comfort in this trying time and I am glad to hear that Faye is doing better and hope she continues to heal. Ray, I am glad to hear that you have gotten your vaccine.

I messaged his daughter to tell her and all of Les's family how sad we all are and to let them know how he effected each of our lives. And that he was loved by many here at The Village. She is very greatful and says thanks very much.

OMG, I am shattered by the news.  He was a friend to us all.  Condolences to his wife, daughters and family.  He will certainly be missed for a long time to come.

This news is heartbreaking.  I am so sorry and sadden.  When he said he didn't and wouldn't get the vaccine I became very worried.  Please, Please those who have not gotten the vaccine please reconsider.
