Some fun with Van Gogh

If you're not familiar with him, it's Vincent Van Gogh. His shirt has the print of Starry Night, one of his most famous paintings.

It was his left ear. If the above illustration was a self portrait, that would be correct.

Thank you.  I suppose if it's a self portrait it would be a mirror image. If so, the ear showing would be his right. Either way I love his paintings.

We went (my lovely wife and I) to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Pretty cool - and - we made the mistake a few times of calling him Van GO .. I guess that's just what us ENGLISH speaking dips do. We were actually RUDELY corrected more than once .. hahahahaha .. "You Americans! It's pronounced VAN GOFF, NOT Van GOLF or VAN GO, it's VAN GOFF" 

I just smiled and said .. I'm just an ignorant Californian wanting to see some VAN GO stuff, can you tell me where to find the VAN GO Museum?" hahahahahahaha

If I'm ever lucky enough to go there I'll try to remember that.

  Charlie, You might consider coping some of Van Gogh's famous paintings and sellling them in a garage sale. You might make a fortune, is someone thinks they are getting a genuine painting of his. Just kidding, of course but it was a really cool idea of yours to give your art entwined with Van Gogh's portrait. Nice job.

Thank you.  I had a print of Starry Night that I didn't like much because it didn't show the whole painting so I used part of it for the backer. Worked out well since I didn't like it before and now it makes me smile!
