Popular Post Dak0ta52 Posted September 20, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted September 20, 2021 This is a Steve Good pattern titled "Country Church." It is cut on 1/4 Maple using Pegas #2/0 spiral blades. The backing is 1/4 pine painted flat black except for the area of the moon. It was my first attempt at completing a project using nothing but spiral blades and I must admit it took some getting use to. With all the bends and turns in this pattern I would have spent most of my time turning the project on the table. It's finished with natural stain and then received four coats brush on polyurethane with a light sanding between each coat. This was a project my wife plans on gifting to someone. Hope you like it. danny, meflick, Wichman and 20 others 23 Quote

Denny Knappen Posted September 20, 2021 Report Posted September 20, 2021 Very well done, especially with the spiral blades. Dak0ta52 1 Quote

That's why I ordered more spirals. I've got about 4 pending projects, one as a single and the other three are a set. They all will require spirals. I'm sure they will take some time as they are all Jim Blume patterns. Quote
Tbow388 Posted September 23, 2021 Report Posted September 23, 2021 Great job. It is one of my favorite things that I have cut. Dak0ta52 1 Quote
