Popular Post heppnerguy
I have been away for 2 months and then finally got home the 2nd of this month and a couple of days later my wife fell and hurt her arm and ribs and I have become the domestic player in the house since. My wife is starting to do much better but still has a way to go. Anyway. I was able to grab some shop time and made this Steve Good pattern for my wife. I needed to do something that was quick and easy but had a lot of interest in it so I showed this one to my wife and she liked it a lot, so here is my finished piece. She choose the colors for the background. FrankEV, bobscroll, jollyred and 15 others 17
Dak0ta52
Nice job, Richard. Your wife chose wisely on the colors. I cut that pattern a few weeks ago and although it wasn't "fast" as you said, it was fun and challenging. heppnerguy

I do the laundry, cleaning, cooking, dishes, dusting and taking care of my wife's needs, besides the shopping and my outside jobs too. I didn't know I could do that much.. She is not bed ridden, she is too tough for that but she is somewhat unsteady on her feet and in a lot of pain. She is doing much better already. Went to the doctor today and got her some more meds and a blood draw. We have some company coming in about a week to visit and I hope she can help me with that because I am not a very good cook, especially for a number of people. meflick
Dick, this is a beautiful piece, but it would not be quick and easy or relaxing for me as you have said it was for you. That is a nod to your excellent skills in front of the saw. I’m sorry to hear Sharon took a tumble. I’m happy to hear while it was bad enough, it was not as bad as it could have been. Glad to hear she is on the mend and you are playing your role of doting husband admirably. I hope she enjoys seeing her beautiful piece you have crafted special for her. Prayers said that she continues to heal well and quickly before that company comes. heppnerguy

She did like it a lot and immediately hung in on our bedroom wall. Sharon is continuing to do better but sometimes pushes things and has a set back from it. Sh has a doctor appointment the first of next week so we will see what he says about things. Dick meflick and Tomanydogs
