carl1 Posted October 28, 2021 Report Share Posted October 28, 2021 I put mineral oil on mine 50 years ago, use them all the time. nothing ever happened. We don't go from the stove to trivet all the time. We put hot food in bowls and serving plates to protect wood table and Formica counter top, that what trivets are made for.
