it's the problem for me, paint or stain ? that is the question.😇
I like the raw wood but in this case, it seems the stain is appropriate, maybe clear oak or colorless stain but no paint.

(I hope you understood my English language🙃🤪)

Very nice Eric.
I like a little colour, but in this case I think a couple of coats of clear would make it pop.
If you decide to use a stain, make sure that it is sanded really well with no scratches as stain will show up every little fault.

Steve Good used to use lemon oil on a lot of his first patterns. He just dipped them in the oil and dried them off. It brings out the color of the wood really well and it is so easy to do. This method does not really put an long lasting result, as the oil eventually dissipates, but it can be redone about anytime it is needed. Just a thought.
