Popular Post Jim Finn Posted October 31, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted October 31, 2021 A friend asked me to make a birthday card box, much like a recipe box, for a woman celebrating her 90th birthday. She will keep her , approx. 200, birthday cards from church members in it. Flower is a gardenia. Cedar with hard maple inlay. 6"x8"x6"tall. FrankEV, TexasDIY, Old Joe and 22 others 25 Quote
preprius Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 That is beautiful. I can smell the cedar already. I hope it fits all the cards. Great inlay. Mark. Jim Finn 1 Quote
rjweb Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Another beautiful piece Jim, where do you get your cedar at, RJ Jim Finn 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Seem like it have been awhile since you last posted one of your cool boxes.. A beauty as always... I have to say though,,, I spent some time trying to wipe that black mark appearing on the lid, off of my computer screen before I realized it was in you picture! Trying the inlay is about three places down on my bucket list... Keep the inspiring boxes coming.. Jim Finn 1 Quote
