kmmcrafts
I've not seen these before.. says it's washable.. looks like it might just be a single layer and probably won't work as well with sawdust as the pleated furnace filter.. just wondering if anyone had any experience with them? https://www.homedepot.com/p/AC-Safe-20-in-Box-Fan-Filter-FF-20/307280271?MERCH=REC-_-cart-_-NA-_-307280271-_-N OCtoolguy

We have all floor vents in our mobile home for both the heat and a/c and the filter in the furnace is severely lacking in filtration so I bought some filter cloth on Amazon and went to each floor outlet and put some of it in the duct so that some degree of filtration is right at the outlet point. It seems to have helped a lot. This is what I bought. Roberta Moreton and kmmcrafts 1
lawson56
It's a new one on me. I have a box fan in my shop, I use the same type of filter that I use in my house AC, Heather. Just a little trimming. It has worked fine so far. OCtoolguy and kmmcrafts

We bought ours new 10 years ago and are very happy with everything. But the furnace manufacturer really shorted the filtration on our unit. And there is really no way to add anything better. Ours is also a double wide. 1600 square feet, 3 bdrms 2 bths. The only way we could leave So Cal and then come back. We got lucky and found this park, a mile from the beach and there was the BEST lot in the park sitting vacant. Timing was perfect. We bought ours 14 years ago. We are on a rural, small, curvy, highway. One acre, double wide with two garages, a single and a half and an extra large double. 3 bed, two bath home. Our first master bath! It’s not mobile, be fancy, it’s MODULAR! Edited November 5, 2021 by Roberta Moreton OCtoolguy
BadBob
I would not buy it because there is no MERV rating and no specs at all. I think you would be better off to buy the filter paper in rolls. I've seen it with ratings up tp MERV 16. kmmcrafts and OCtoolguy 1

Foxfold
Must admit, I didn't know you could 'buy' a box filter for dust/sawdust. I've never seen them here in the UK. We have 3 however, Two in Tony's workshop and one in mine. But they were made by Tony and work brilliantly. Scrappile
I don't buy filters for my box fan... I buy furnace filters that happen to be a size to fit right on the front of my 20" x 20" box fan.. kmmcrafts, OCtoolguy and Mark SW 2
