First project on the new King 16"

This is my first project on my new saw, a King 16". It went much easier than I expected and better than the Delta,  which was a surprise to me. 

It's a video game image I put on a basswood blank for my daughter who's an avid gamer.

I will be filling it in with tinted epoxy.

Wow,  it looks thick.   

AND looks nice.   

Live edge makes it look like the game character lives in the wood.

The blank is only a 1/2" thick and basswood, so it cuts pretty easy with the Pegas blades, I used a MG #5 for this.
