Popular Post jbrowning
Had a really good time at the Craft Show today. There were a lot of people who remembered me and I remembered them. I sold a total of 44 puzzles and have special orders for 6 Dog Leash Holders. Here is a link to the video I took before the show started. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECLOgtGGMhs&t=6s Thanks Jim OCtoolguy, preprius, crupiea and 8 others 9

scrollingforsanity
Congratulations JB on your craft show. Nice setup and video. 44 puzzles is a pretty good day. I see you don't shrink wrap your puzzles. Do the customers pick them up and take them apart? jbrowning and OCtoolguy
jbrowning
Yes they do pick them up and put them together. When one is purchased I put it into a zip lock bag that I buy at the dollar store. I am looking into the shrink wrap, I'm just not sure what size to buy. Dave Monk
Congrats on the show. I use 8" x 12" wraps that I bought from Paper Mart. They seem to work great for me. OCtoolguy and jbrowning
Joe W.
WAY TO GO! Also, Michael's craft store sells shrink wrap 9 feet by 60 inches you can cut to size for individual items. Might be more cost effective. jbrowning and OCtoolguy
scrollingforsanity
I get mine from paper mart also. I believe they are 8x12 also. I will check. If the are a different size I will you know. I make most of the same puzzles you do and they all fit in that size. I have to trim some of them a little for the smaller puzzles but they work great. jbrowning and OCtoolguy

crupiea
Great work and that seems like a good amount of sales!! OCtoolguy and jbrowning
scrollingforsanity
JB I use the 9x12 flat heat shrink bags. They seem to work well with the types of puzzles we make. I get them from papermart.com. 500 for $21.46. about 5 cents each after shipping costs. The only problem I have is trying to shrink them too tight and blowing a hole in them ( my fault ). If it is a small hole I just repair it with a small piece of packing tape. Good luck with your future craft shows. jbrowning and OCtoolguy
jbrowning
Thanks everybody. Been busy working on the custom orders that I have. I will for sure look into the heat shrink bags. That might be the way to go for me with this. Thanks Jim OCtoolguy and scrollingforsanity
Joe W.
I used the sheet shrink wrap on some puzzles yesterday and discovered that was too time consuming and too much effort. So, I'll use the bags if I do this again. OCtoolguy and jbrowning
WolfmoonCT
Great setup. You must have a truck or trailer to fit the shelving unit in.
