Nice work, Barb. I understand doing something "just because." I finished a Jim Blume pattern a few weeks ago and decided to cut a few ornaments. Today I was going to start another of Jim's patterns when I realized the blade I had in the saw was a rather new Pegas #1 MGT. Rather than switch it to a spiral that I needed for Jim's pattern, I decided to cut a few more ornaments... "just because." Anyway, I finished the ornaments and did get started on Jim's pattern.

You did a nice job on this. I did it a couple of months ago using Zebrawood and Padauk, but I had to do it twice as when I first stack cut them I used too small of a blade and it flexed a little resulting in an imperfect fit and I didn’t have the patience for the required sanding to make it work.. The second time I cut them individually and they fit perfectly. Again, nice job.
