Popular Post barb.j.enders
Just a quick cut yesterday and finish this morning. Stack cut 1/4 thick hardwood ply from KJP Hardwoods. Backer is some masonite. Finish is tung oil. Pattern from Steve Good. Nice to do something "just because" Roberta Moreton, Woodrush, jr42 and 18 others

Dak0ta52
Nice work, Barb. I understand doing something "just because." I finished a Jim Blume pattern a few weeks ago and decided to cut a few ornaments. Today I was going to start another of Jim's patterns when I realized the blade I had in the saw was a rather new Pegas #1 MGT. Rather than switch it to a spiral that I needed for Jim's pattern, I decided to cut a few more ornaments... "just because." Anyway, I finished the ornaments and did get started on Jim's pattern. Old Joe
You did a nice job on this. I did it a couple of months ago using Zebrawood and Padauk, but I had to do it twice as when I first stack cut them I used too small of a blade and it flexed a little resulting in an imperfect fit and I didn’t have the patience for the required sanding to make it work.. The second time I cut them individually and they fit perfectly. Again, nice job. barb.j.enders

John B
Super sweet Barb. I have looked at many patterns of Ying and Yang cats. Seeing yours "in the Flesh" may just be the incentive I need to cut some. barb.j.enders
