Love that frame. Is that the saw marks that I am seeing? Would be nice for a little info on the prep for the frame. Great scroll work too.

The frame is from some old rough cut oak.

I planed the wood a little before I cut it down (to my liking).

Routed the groove for the piece.

Made the frame to fit.
