Popular Post dgman Posted January 16, 2022 Popular Post Report Share Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) With a very nice gift card from Woodcraft and a nice check, I was able to purchase a Laguna 14/12 band saw. The two deciding factors on this saw is 12” resaw capacity and it runs on standard 110v. I ordered the mobility kit and and a Laguna ResawKing blade. Still waiting on the blade. Thats what you get when you move to Florida and can only have a tiny shop. Congrats. Great piece of equipment. I was looking at one, but found a barely used powermatic, I had to purchase a riser block for it. I have been using the woodsliser blade from Highland Woodworking with mine. I mean you coulda gotten a new Jeep Wagoneer or something but besides that I think you need to donate that great new gift to me since my Jet bandsaw is giving me alignment problems...Merry xmas lucky guy!!! I told her get me a glowforge and i will make her one. All was going good until I told her the price. I doubt I get one for a Christmas gift ever.
