The cutouts around the heads is visually engaging and accentuates the faces in a way I don't think I've ever seen before.

Quite striking and beautifully done.  I'll try to remember this one if I ever get deep into designing patterns.

Thanks Joe. I used a free program I found called Cute Cutter. You can Google it. I think it's primarily for making patterns for the Cricut vinyl cutting machines. It's fun to play with anyway. I was able to play around with it and get something close and then clean it up a little in Paint 3D. It was still a bit of a rough draft when I glued it on the wood. This is what I used as a pattern.
