tracyguy Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Hi there my name is Martin and I am from Scotland. I am new to scroll sawing and trying to get into scroll sawing and would love to make a buisness out of it. I am very intrested in portrait patterns and trying to do some of my family. So any tips would be very helpful. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks Quote
mikesscrollsaw Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 Welcome to the village. This is a great place to hang out and to learn this craft. There are plenty of very talented people on this site. as far as making a business out of scrollsawing, all I can say is be ready for a rough road. From my limited experience, it will be VERY difficult to make enough money at this for it to be a full time job. I make some money, mostly feeds my hobbies (which is a good thing) but that's about it. definelty can't quit my day job. Again welcome to the site! mike Quote
