rdatelle
Hi everyone, just looking on Amazon and they have a brand new Excalibur 21 inch with foot switch for $699. That's a great deal if anyone is looking. I just ordered a new Pegus 21 inch from Denny and I will be selling my Ex 21 pretty soon. Comes with the new blade blocks from Bearwoods and the stand. I also put new knobs and blade screws and new lever, I just put one of those erasable magnetic tops on it to. Asking $500 or best offer. Pick up only or you pay for shipping. Ralph, is your saw a Taiwan or Canadian mfgr? Green? That saw on Amazon is probably from China at that price. Denny Knappen
Thanks for the order, Ralph. My EX21 is black and gold made in Tiawan, so I would expect yours is also. OCtoolguy

Just curious. For the paint job or ???

kmmcrafts
The EX saws you see being sold now are NOT the same EX saw that used to be made.. Most of what you see on Amazon and eBay are actually refurbished China made knockoffs of the original one. China reverse engineered the old EX and did a pretty poor job of it.. While they look the same they are not.. while a lot of the parts are interchangeable not all of them are.. so even sourcing parts would be tough for the ones that are not the same. I have one of those cheaper saws.. Nothing but issues with it and finally got it working decent after throwing alot of "real " EX parts into the saw.. Basically the shell / frame is the only thing I didn't replace, LOL.. NC Scroller, DME72 and OCtoolguy
