Found a pic online and used it for a pattern.  About 8"x11", BBply.  Not sure if I will put a backer on it or leave it open.  It will sit next to a Flag that I just finished making and both will sit on the outdoor fireplace mantel.  The Flag is approx. 9"x 17".  Included pics of with and without a backer.

Ilike the pattern and the cutting.  I would put on the backer, without it the pattern and color of the rocks in the fireplace compete with the cutting and make it hard to see.  just my opinion.  Really nice flag, also.

I agree with Tom. The backer makes the eagle stand out better. Beautiful job by the way.

Yep, I'd do a backer as well.  Nicely cut, however you decide to display it!

Another vote for including the backer!  Nice work!  Too bad it's a bit taller than the flag - it would have made a great background without backer!

Thanks everyone!  I like the Eagle better without the backer but I will attach one mainly for stability.  It definitely stands out better with a backer.
