wombatie
I have finally found a white colored wood that I love and its American Rock Maple. I never use white or light colored woods because I had the way they look after they have been oiled etc, but this one looks the way I want it too. Thanks America. WolfmoonCT
Your welcome Marg. LOL How do you find blades last cutting it? Go through them pretty fast?
wombatie
I've only cut a couple of Christmas ornaments so far so the blades been ok, maybe when I find something more industrious to cut I will run into a blade problem until then I'm happy. Oges
Have you tried the White Beech or Silver Quandong?
wombatie
The Woodsmith in Vic does not have an enormous stock of the lighter coloured wood Brett its mainly Jellotong and Huen pine oh and a bit of King Billy pine. And when I got the first piece of Rock Maple it was only really an off cut but I picked up some round pieces on Sat. that I have to cut into slices. The working with wood show is on in a couple of weeks I will see what they have there. Marg
