Oges
Hi Edward If you go to the Jewelry section of Steve Good's patterns, he has a few necklace and pendant patterns that you can get some information/ideas from http://stevedgo.ipower.com/cat/?page_id=
shadylady0447
Edward, there are a few in the jewelry section of the Village Pattern Library also. When my daughter was making jewelry she displayed them on a cork boards that were covered with black or blue velvet material. She used clear push pins to hang the necklaces. Travis
You can cut metal on a scroll saw too. Other materials are acrylic, plywood, hardwood. Go to the countertop/kitchen section of your home improvement store and grab their formica samples. You can also use Corian (another countertop material. Look on eBay). You can decoupage pictures, tissue paper, or scrap book paper to some plywood for some nice effects, too. Craft stores has this plastic stuff that people use to make jewelry. Basically, you cut it out, layer it and put it in the oven to fuse them (it's not fused glass, this is plastic). Anyway, they have lots of colors to choose from. A few ideas. Dan
Polymer clay is another material that would work well for a necklace. Saw some today with very vivid colors.
