Picture orientation

In my thread about the rose with a name I have posted several pictures. I've taken all of them with my phone, in the same orientation, yet when I post them I have no idea what orientation they will be in until I insert them into the post. I don't see any option for rotating them to get them all in the same orientation, is there any fix? Or is it just how it is?

When I download pictures I first download to a file folder and then that allows me to rotate pictures as needed.  Plus I now have a file of pictures for later use.

If you're posting them to  your Gallery, I think you have some options.  But if it's a forum post, the pictures are how you shot them.  However, if you edit them in your phone with some color correction or cropping, it should fix it.  At least that's what my phone does.

I can't get used to these bloody phones. Sometimes when I upload the pics I have taken on my phone to the computer they appear upside down in the thumbnails, but when I pull them into some editing software etc they magically turn the right side up. It's all from another dimension I think

It's because none of us are 12. Kids get it.
