Popular Post new2woodwrk Posted April 28, 2022 Popular Post Report Posted April 28, 2022 (edited) We had our first clock sale 2 weeks ago (it took a few days to get the process down). A big thank you and shout out to @kmmcrafts for all the information relating to the drill bit size and clock insert as well as providing access to the insert! Also a shout out to every one who offered suggestions on mounting items. I went with a dowel for the clock tower and polyurethane glue for the dragon (this glue is now my go to for difficult glue ups!) Made from blond Poplar, measures 9 1/2" base x 6" height with a 2" clock tower insert with spray acrylic coating. I left enough room on the insert tower for engraving should the customer want in the future. Thanks as always in advance for reading Edited April 28, 2022 by new2woodwrk Dave Monk, jr42, frankorona and 10 others 13 Quote
kmmcrafts Posted April 28, 2022 Report Posted April 28, 2022 Nice work as always, I need to get some more of those patterns from Scott.. I ran out of the patterns I have of his making them as clocks.. Of coarse I've been busy with a million other non-woodworking projects the last 3 or so weeks.. and I seem to have at least another 2-4 weeks probably before I can get back at it. I'm glad I was able to help you out with the clock info and getting you a clock insert. new2woodwrk 1 Quote
