pdmclardy
Hi , i just got a new Excaliber 21 ex and in under two weeks the top linkage has broken just inside the top caseing and i was not putting much pressure on it at the time !! has any one else had the same problem ?? i am just a bit concerned with it being a new saw ! the company i bought it from has repaced it with a new one today but i feel i will not be as confident with it in case the same thing happens again ! Mimi
I have had my Excaliber for about 3 yrs and have only had one thing go wrong with it. the off/on switch wore out so I had to change it. other than that it seems to be a good. saw. Hope the next one you get is a better one.
Travis
The Excaliber is the Cadillac of scroll saws. I'm guessing it was just a fluke. I haven't heard anybody having much trouble with them. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If so, I'd contact the manufacturer directly.
