Good Morning, Gene:  Thanks for your interest in my work.  I have developed this technique for enhancing my scrollwork projects.  After the scroll is completed, I use a power carver and carve further details, usually wildlife subjects and animals.  If you wish to see more of my work, go to the User Gallery Album 3 to see more examples.  You can also check my posts in the forum to see more projects or use Google Search for Dick Miraglia.  Have a great day!   Dick

Thank you for pointing me to your work. It's absolutely awesome! I was able to figure out your process on many pieces. But there were a few that has me stumped. Your artistry and skill with the saw in combination with the burrs is amazing.

Thanks for your kind comments.  Most of my published articles were in Creative Woodworks & Crafts and show a step by step process with the carving bits used.  Unfortunately, the magazine is not publishing anymore and old copies are hard to find.  One was published in Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts , Fox Chapel, Fall 2008, Issue 32, pg 56 and probably could be ordered from them.  You can see a preview of the tiger project by going to their website, scrollsawwoodworking.com and putting Dick Miraglia in the Search area.  The article shows step by step directions for creating a tiger portrait.  I am not sure if the back issue is still available.  By the way, you can send a message to me by just clicking the chipmunk and then hitting message which is private and more convenient.   Dick
