New Old Guy in TN

Hello, I am new to this forum but have been scrolling off and on for about five years. I bought my scroll saw initially to help me to cut out blanks for carving. I have also done a few ornamental things and a few portraits for family and friends. I am currently trying to learn the art of pattern making and am having some success but still need more practice. I am retired and live on the beautiful Cumberland Plateau near Crossville TN.

Most of my spare time is used carving hiking staffs and walking sticks but I hope to be spending more time scrolling.

I will be hanging out in the pattern requests section where I hope to get more practice in pattern making.

We also have another member who carves walking sticks, look forward to seeing some of your work.

and it will be good to have another pattern maker in the Village, if you need any help im sure our pattern makers can give you some tips.
