Looking good Dick.
Greyhound used to operate in Australia too. It was a cheap way of getting packages around the country as well as travelling.

I never knew that Greyhound operated in other countries , except for Canada. I learn something almost every day, it seems

Dick, a really great job and very nostalgic. I keep looking at the back wheels. Do they have a bridge and painted or did you just glue them into place?

I learned something from you a while back about painting the bridge on the wheels and I was lucky enough to have that teaching of yours, pop into my head as I was making this. Thanks for the wisdom you shared with me

excellent job, I sure remember riding on them.

they were an interesting and original idea of their time. If I remember correctly there were two sections of seat on the lower deck and three stairs leading up to the up section where the remainder of the seating was located. I could be wrong about the numbers, but seem to be how I remember things, now days

Not only old enough but have ridden in them! Your friend received a very nice present and very understandable that it was hung the same day! Great job!

Erv

Thanks Erv, It is fun when something from out pasts snaps into view and it almost always brings a smile to our faces when this happens. "Oh, wow, I haven't seen one of those for a long time. I almost totally forgot about it. then as our memories are sparked, it really only seems like yesterday when the item was being used."

You did a great job on that Dick, your friend will be overwhelmed with it.  You are a very generous friend.

Marg

He actually told me again today how much he loves it. It makes me happy when I give something I made to someone and they seem so proud to call it theirs. I also know just because I like something does not mean another person will care much about it, because everyone has different tastes.

That looks great Dick. Roly

I sort of have a little sentiments about this bus do to the fact that I worked with them. I always thought it was a rather interesting design and kind of miss them when they were no longer used.
