He has purchased several of my wood projects and he had his 82nd birthday this week. One time while in my shop, he saw a plaque I had made for myself and mentioned how much he liked it. so for his birthday, I made one for him too. He had it hanging on his wall the same day he received it. If you are old enough you may remember these greyhound scenicruisers. I used to load them when I was in high school, during the summer. I really liked this vehicle at the time and it was a fun memory when I found the pattern for it. I learned something from you a while back about painting the bridge on the wheels and I was lucky enough to have that teaching of yours, pop into my head as I was making this. If I remember correctly there were two sections of seat on the lower deck and three stairs leading up to the up section where the remainder of the seating was located. You are a very generous friend. Marg He actually told me again today how much he loves it. It makes me happy when I give something I made to someone and they seem so proud to call it theirs. I also know just because I like something does not mean another person will care much about it, because everyone has different tastes.
