Welcome to the Village and congrats on an outstanding project. Pine can sometimes be hard to cut because the blade has a tendency to follow the grain. Apparently you didn't experience this problem doing this piece.

I didn't really experience the blade travel too much on this one...but I did experiment with some SPF and oh boy, did that blade want to follow the grain and not to mention it would fly through the soft spots

2nd project or 200th that's a cool piece. Great job on the painting, tread work on the tires, and I love the finish of the bead board you mounted it on. Very fun project!
