Popular Post Nickel Falls
Happy Father's day to all the dads in our group. I got the inspiration for these pieces while browsing some website and just kinda winged it, so I do not have a pattern source. (P.s. I know there should not be a apostrophe in "dads"....but I had already cut it before I realized I'm an idiot....lol) Edited June 9, 2022 by Nickel Falls heppnerguy, Charlie E, danny and 11 others
RabidAlien
Nicely cut! As far as I recall from grammar lessons [mumblemumble] years ago, having an apostrophe s makes it possessive. The garage/workshop belong to Dad. Without the apostrophe, its just plural. Multiple dads in this garage/workshop. From what I can tell these days...none of that matters anyway. heppnerguy
I agree, the apostrophe belongs in it. You were right to add it. Nice projects for Father's Day. Dick heppnerguy Nickel Falls

wombatie
Yes I agree with the apostrophe, it means belonging to, at least that is my understanding. Either way it looks great, well done. Marg Nickel Falls

Charlie E
Very cool. If leaving out an apostrophe is all it takes to be an idiot, sign me up. I saw a post the other day where an elementary student asked his teacher, "Does this word need a flying comma?" She said apostrophes will always be flying commas for her now.
